Hunting knife "Röd Djävul"

A delicious little beautiful devil!

A very good wilderness knife, skinning, cutting, cutting sausages, carving sticks, cutting tangled fishing lines, cutting the boat's rope that got sucked up during the night's downpour, the knot that seemed so good last night, but now you can't untie it, just cut the rope!

Strong and sturdy spine on the knife, a full 5 mm.

5 brass pins hold the sides of the handle together.
The handle is made of durable, hard and easy-to-clean Paccawood.
Despite its small size, the little rascal weighs a whopping 230 grams.

Absolutely excellent knife to buy for hunting, fishing for fishermen or gifts for the birthday child.
This knife quickly became the biggest favorite among our Damascus knives, certainly because there is a nice feeling in this fine knife.
The steel is a genuine unmasked/Damask steel!
The two types of steel we have unmasked are
High Carbon 1095 and 4340 steel.
These steels are joined together into a long ingot which is then heated and folded over, this is done until the layers are 396!
The knife is then dipped in acid, which brings out the pattern created by the swelling of the steel. You can polish off the acid if you want a more discreet look, but you can also dip the knife in acid to bring out the pattern when it has faded after cleaning.
We harden all blades to around 58 HRC, but this can of course vary slightly, between 55-60 HRC.
